Installing the Hardware

Attaching the Antenna

The Wireless LAN Adapter comes with one 2 dBi dipole

antenna.

With the unit powered off, attach the antenna to the antenna

connector on the Wireless LAN Adapter.

NOTE: Do not over-tighten; ﬁnger tight is sufﬁcient.

Position the antenna vertically for best omni-directional

signal reception.

NOTE: Due to FCC and DOC Regulations, the antenna

connector on the Wireless LAN Adapter is of reverse

polarity to the standard TNC connectors.
