6. In the Select OEM Option box, select the "Aironet

PCI/ISA4800 PCI/ISA Wireless LAN Adapter"

option. Click OK.

7. The Aironet Wireless Communications, Inc.

Adapter Setup window appears. Select Client

Name. Type your computer's unique client name in

the Value dialog box.

8. Select SSID. Type your Access Point's SSID in the

Value dialog box. Click OK.

9. Click Close.

10. When asked to shutdown and restart your com-

puter, remove the CD-ROM disk and click Yes.

The driver installation is complete.

Contact your IS department if you have problems

connecting to the network. Proxy server, network

protocols, and further authentication information

might be needed to connect to the network.

NOTE: If your ISA Wireless LAN Adapter will not send or

receive data after installation, use Windows NT

Diagnostics to check the assigned IRQ Level and I/O

Port. If there is a conflict, use the Advanced button in the

Network Properties window to adjust the settings.

Installing the Aironet 4800B Series PCI/ISA Card Wire-

less LAN Adapter Utilities

To install the WinDGS, LinkScope, and WEPKey utilities,

follow these steps:

1. Insert the Aironet 4800B Series CD for your operat-

ing system into your computer's CD-ROM drive.

2. Click Start > Run and type D:\utils\setup.exe where

"D" is your CD-ROM's drive letter.
