Using Edit Properties

The Edit Proper-

the Commands

menu, includes

four “pages,”

which you select

by clicking the

tabs at the top of

the window:

• System

Parameters

• Network

Parameters

• RF Network Parameters

• Advanced (Infrastructure or Ad Hoc)

Each sub-screen is described below.

System Parameters

System parameters include:

• Name

• SSID

• Network Type (Infrastructure or Ad Hoc)

• Constant Awake Mode (CAM)

• Power Save Mode

• Fast Power Save Mode

• Maximum Power Save Mode

Name

The station name is displayed in the table of connected

devices on the Access Point. It provides a logical name

to determine which machines are connected without
